Manned aviation pilots, cabin crew, and drone pilots must undergo aviation security training to ensure they can effectively identify and respond to potential threats, safeguarding the safety of passengers, aircraft, and airspace.
- 18 years & older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Class 3 Medical required for BVLOS candidate, OR Class 5 "self-declaration" Medical
- Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written

Study Mode
- Knowledge of previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, terrorist acts and current threats;
- Awareness of the relevant legal requirements;
- Knowledge of the objectives and organisation of aviation security, including the obligations and responsibilities of persons implementing security controls;
- Understanding of the configuration of the screening checkpoint and the screening process;
- Awareness of access control and relevant screening procedures;
- Knowledge of airport identification cards used at the airport;
- Knowledge of reporting procedures;
- Ability to respond appropriately to security-related incidents;
- Knowledge of insider threat and mitigation methods;

- Awareness of the steps required to create and promote a security culture; and
- Knowledge of basic behaviour detection methods.
